Why Choose The Manor Retirement Community?

By Frank Forsythe

As a senior citizen myself--married 51 years now--my wife and I have begun the early steps of looking at various retirement facilities for our needs, both physically and financially, and still within the Charlotte region. Here are things that stand out about The Manor:

· No buy-in fees! We can hold onto our nest egg ourselves.

· No entry fees, either. It’s month-to-month rentals. Only one year old, too!

· Manor apartments' utilities are included in the resident’s monthly rent, courtesy of the Manor.

· Age-in-place accommodations are pre-installed in every apartment, from the start.

· 16 security cameras throughout the entire property and monitored 24/7 on site.

· Top-quality retirement living with others of age-related interests and concerns.

The Manor in the Villages at Carolina Place provides the best low-cost quality of living at the region's best value without any doubt. Come see the place for yourself and you too will be thrilled and impress.

Summer Sing & Shout

(From the September, 2009 issue of Pineville Today)

A fun day was had by all who attended the "Summer Sing and Shout" Festival held for residents in the Village at Carolina Place, an active adult community comprised of The Dorchester, The Manor and The Cottages. The event, which took place at noon on July 22nd, featured a visit by Pineville Mayor, George Fowler, music by the banjo-strumming Jeff Whittington and his band, and a performance by 16 year old singing sensation Rachel Tripp. The Charlotte Senior Cheerleaders, pictured here, also added to the entertainment by performing several of their routines. Hot dogs with all the trimmings, along with watermelon and fresh-squeezed lemonade were served up to residents and guests while WBTV captured it all on film to be featured on the 6:00 p.m. news in an effort to show just how much fun seniors can have. "It's all about choices at our community and what a wonderful way you can choose to spend your day" said Program Director, Deana Bell.
